Problem is, this is first created when a file is accepted and is saved onto disk and here at this stage the file is not complete and could be in progress or interrupted or canceled (we just dont know). So if this ever works as intended we dont want conflicts or cause possible corruption by trying to open a file that is possibly in progress or is incomplete. Aside from this, the play $0 is hardcoded and not all file types can be played so this is wrong no matter how you look at it.
